ABOUT ME

I am a qualified Counsellor and Hypnotherapist having gained my Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling at Wealden Psychology Institute and my Diploma in Hypnotherapy at Mind-field Training.I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) which means I am fully committed to abiding by the BACP ethical framework for Good Practice, as well as registered with the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council). In accordance with counselling regulation I undertake regular supervision and I am fully insured.

I see every person as the expert on their own lives and I believe everyone has the ability and right to develop fully. Sometimes in life, especially in times of distress individuals can get stuck, repeating old patterns of behaviour and out of date coping mechanisms. I believe by exploring your thoughts, feelings and behaviours either by using  counselling or hypnotherapy techniques and by offering empathy, honesty, acceptance and respect you can heal yourself by making positive changes and emerge stronger and better equipped for your life ahead .

I have successfully worked with clients with many issues including bereavement, anxiety, depression, fears and phobias, habits, low self-esteem, relationship issues and addictions. I have worked with children and teenagers, as well as adults ranging from 5 - 70 years old.

Everyone comes to therapy for different reasons and the relationship between the client and their therapist is crucial to the process. If you are feeling anxious or unsure about how to progress please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

I offer my clients a safe space to be themselves, to be heard and to make the changes they need to be more satisfied.
