Hypnotherapy is a form of therapy that uses the power of suggestion to encourage positive change. A hypnotherapist will use relaxation techniques to help you reach a state where the conscious part of your mind is relaxed and your subconscious part is more open to suggestion to help encourage the change you are looking for. People have been entering into hypnotic-type trances for thousands of years. In many cultures and religions, it was regarded as a form of meditation. Modern day hypnosis, however started in the late 18th century.

I offer a tailored approach with my clients depending on the issues they wish to address. I work with my clients to bring about lasting change. Initially I offer clients a free telephone consultation where we can discuss how we will work together and agree a treatment plan before booking in for their hypnotherapy sessions. Depending on the issue I usually see clients for 2-3 sessions, occasionally longer term work is necessary.
